Lakay means home in Haitian Creole. This is not a casino, not a tournament.
This is a family room — warm light, Haitian music, and a card game passed down through generations.
BEZEEK LAKAY is Haiti's answer to Bézique — a centuries-old trick-and-meld card game
that rewards memory, patience, and style. Two players. One deck. Race to 1000 points.
Win tricks — lead a card, the higher card wins.
Declare melds — after winning, reveal scoring combinations.
Score points — melds move your marker. First to 1000 wins.

Chapter Two
Winning tricks is only half the game. The melds are where the points live.

Chapter Three
Every hand follows the same heartbeat. Learn this rhythm — like learning the downbeat of konpa before the melody arrives.
Phase 1 — Draw. Play freely. After each trick, both players draw. Build your hand.
Phase 2 — Endgame. Stock gone. Follow suit. Every trick counts.
Trump. The trump suit beats all. Guard your trump cards.
Brisque. 10 pts for each Ace and 10 captured. Plus 10 for last trick.
